Very thorough and good review, Noto. I'm ashamed to say that I have never seen an Esther Williams film. I know who she was. I was in on the joke in History of the World Part I, but I've never watched one.

Go with Bathing Beauty if you're gonna watch one.
It's my favorite film on the set and will probably get spun many more times.
I have the original Australian daybill for Bathing Beauty in reasonably good condition just begging for me to frame it. It's far and away the oldest poster I have (1944). _________________ These movies just seem too 'Noto' for me.
