Sony Pictures Home Entertainment released the action-adventure film Dragon Wars on DVD, Blu-ray™ High-Def and PSP™ on January 8. This exciting, epic, fantasy film with thrilling action and amazing visual effects revolves around an ancient myth reincarnated in present day where dragon-like creatures return to wreck havoc on Los Angeles. The DVD includes both a widescreen version and full screen version both on the same disc, and contains two featurettes: “5,000 Years in the Making” and “Storyboard-to-Screen,” as well a conceptual art gallery. Dragon Wars is available for the SLP of $28.95 and features collectible foil packaging.

Synopsis
Meet Buraki, the vicious, 200-meter long Imoogi serpent from ancient Korea. His army includes giant lizards with missile launchers, flying dragons, soldiers bred for evil and mega-intelligent dinosaurs. Together, they will destroy Los Angeles and possibly the world unless reincarnated warriors Ethan and Sarah can outrun them and resurrect the Good Imoogi, Buraki’s ancient nemesis. Dragon Wars reveals every last detail of Earth’s greatest battle – a war you’ll only believe when you see it for yourself.

Directed and written by popular Korean filmmaker Hyung Rae Shim.

Dragon Wars has a run time of approximately 90 minutes and is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of violence and creature action.
