Cartoon Network’s top-rated 3-D animated series is flying onto DVD in two separate volumes on January 15 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Created by Nerd Corp Entertainment, Inc. Storm Hawks – Hawks Rise Again and Storm Hawks – Tales From The Atmos present the story of five mismatched teens and their strange furry sidekick, as they defend the people of Atmos against an evil oppressor. Armed with transforming flying motorcycles, they dog-fight the worst villains ever to hit the skies. Each action-packed volume features four episodes and one bonus episode of the highly rated show, plus a collectible, limited edition Storm Hawks comic book in a foil and embossed O-ring. Storm Hawks – Hawks Rise Again and Storm Hawks – Tales From The Atmos are filled with exciting bonus features including montages of Cyclonians and weapons, and are priced to own at $16.97 SRP each. Both DVD’s have an order due date of December 13th 2007.
Synopsis:
In Atmos, thousands of islands of rock, called “Terras” shoot up from the clouds, each housing strange creatures and societies. Their only defense against an evil empire is squadrons of fearless “Sky Knights,” who patrol the roadways and skyways with their incredibly fast and powerful transforming vehicles – shifting gears from easy rider to easy glider. No Sky Knight squad was more legendary then the Storm Hawks – but that was before the dark forces of Cyclonia put them out of commission. Now these five fearless teens have taken up their quest, their gear and their name.
